My name is Benjamin J. Cox. I am retired but stay very busy. I am a member of three Toastmasters clubs. I am the President of Mayes County Writers Club.
I have three daughters: Shirley lives in New Jersey, now; Amy lives in Denton, Texas: Christy lives in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma.
There are five grandchildren: Dylan, Chloe, Bailee, Derwin and Kiah.
Betty and I take one or more vacations each year. We play Bridge, and we might get away on a Saturday night to a Big Band dance, a Town Hall Meeting, or to see a good movie.
Recently, I've begun to teach an Adult Sunday School class once each month.
I'm a Will Rogers Toastmaster, also District 16 Lt Governor Marketing for 2011/2012.
I may go for a bicycle ride, walk to the Kum n Go to pickup up a newspaper, sit down at a poker table, or bet on the highest odds horse at the Belmont.
I may go to a local restaurant and talk, read the paper or work a crossword puzzle. I write on one of my books every day.
